Invisible Cities book design In this hand-bound book project, I set out to capture the conceptual essence of the book in the physical materials. Italo Calvino's book, originally published in 1978, is a work in which Marco Polo recounts tales of his world travels and the sights which he has discovered. The books incorporates contemporary design techniques with classical references of form, mixing hand-rendered letter forms with typeset characters. |
